Best Friends Built Their Own Tiny House Village To Retire And Grow Old Together

You don’t get to choose your family in life, but you do get to choose your friends. And if you’re lucky and choose wisely, your best friends do become a part of your family. We all can remember our childhood best friends, sadly, not all of us are still best friends with them – or even friends with them, period.
It’s not that we don’t like our friends from childhood, it’s just that sometimes life gets in the way. As we get older, we don’t always have the same time that we used to. People grow up and get jobs or start families, some of us even change cities several time zones away. All that contributes to people losing touch.
Well, one group of friends decided that they weren’t going to let that happen to their group, so they did something about it: they started their own town since growing old together was their final goal.
Four couples who’ve been friends for two decades found themselves without as much time as they’d like to hang out together, but still wanted to grow old together. So, they decided to invest in a small town close to the Llano River near Austin, Texas.

Each one of the cabins in the Llano Exit Strategy cost $40,000. The design was signed by Matt Garcia. The construction was an efficient use of the space, as well as fitting within the budget for each owner.
The cabins are very cute as well, having slanted roofs, reflective walls, insulated windows, and 5,000-gallon water barrels. Looks like these couples will indeed have a great place later in life where they can retire and grow old together.
